The Wicked Picket Anchor System is a high-strength, rapidly deployed ground anchor. This comprehensive system includes three hardened steel pickets for strength and durability, a forged Picket Plate with precision formed holes for maximum holding strength, a modular Hitch Point for rigging anchors, an Extraction Prusik for picket removal, and a Carry Bag that rolls open and doubles as edge protection.
Transport
System components are efficiently organized in the included carry bag. Made from canvas and vinyl coated polyester, the carry bag provides lasting durability both as a bag and as edge protection. Rolling open for easy access, it offers four web loops for tying off at the edge, a clean rope path, and a label / ID holder.
Installation
Quick and easy to install, the Picket Plate joins all three pickets together, unifying their strength for operations. Pickets are aligned vertically and driven to depth using a sledgehammer or similar tool. This orientation simplifies placement and optimizes pullout capacity.
Anchoring Anchoring is streamlined using the included Hitch Point. The Hitch Point can be attached to the front or rear of the plate in a vertical or horizontal configuration, supporting a variety of applications. The Hitch Point is certified to NFPA General Use and also compatible with 2-inch truck hitches. Additional units are available separately if desired.
Removal
Once operations are complete, the pickets are removed with support from the included Extraction Prusik. This cord is looped around the picket head to provide a useful lifting point. The Hitch Point is easily disconnected from the plate using the included 5/8 inch Quick-Release Pin.

Note: NFPA testing performed with Hitch Point and 5/8 inch Quick-Release Pin. Testing was not performed with stakes installed in ground as intended for use. Holding strength of the system is soil and condition dependent.
Due to the industrial manufacturing process, the Picket Plate finish may show cosmetic imperfections, and the Pickets may vary in length and finish. These components are built for high strength and durability.
