Josh serves as a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Vinita Fire Department in Vinita, Oklahoma, where he holds the rank of Captain on the volunteer side of the department. He is also the Director of the Craig County Technical Rescue Task Force in northeast Oklahoma and works with the Grand River Dam Authority confined space rescue team. In addition to his operational roles, Josh is a rope rescue and fire service instructor for Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training. He holds a Juris Doctor degree, a master’s degree in pharmacy, and is Level 1 SPRAT Certified. Josh joined CMC in January 2025, where he teaches Rope Rescue Technician I/II and Tower Rescue classes.
