Applicant Right to Cancel and Tuition Refund Policy
CMC is well aware of the changes in schedule inherent with our student population. We have made our cancellation policy as flexible as possible to accommodate those changes. It is important to the quality of the class for the participating students that the class is full.
45 Days Prior to First Day of Class: An applicant providing written notification and a request for refund that is received by CMC 45 days prior to the first day of class will receive a refund check for the amount of the tuition less a $100 enrollment fee.
Less than 45 Days Prior to First Day of Class: CMC is unable to offer a refund for a cancellation received less than 45 days prior to the first day of the class; with two exceptions.
Full refund. You will receive a full refund if enrollment has been transferred to another student from the same organization. Written notice of the intent to transfer and receipt of the new student’s enrollment form and payment is required before the refund will be issued.
Refund less $100. You will receive a refund, less $100, if CMC is able to fill the vacated spot with an applicant on the waiting list for that class.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of our receipt of written notice of the change in the applicant’s registration status.
CMC Right to Cancel
CMC retains the right to cancel a class at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. In the event a class is canceled, CMC is liable only for the full registration fee. Please keep this in mind when making additional commitments related to the class such as airplane, hotel, and car reservations—as CMC is not responsible for reimbursement of any such charges. In the event of cancellation, CMC will use its best efforts to give prompt notice.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
Prior to the beginning of instruction, all applicants are required to complete and sign a Class Registration Form which includes Voluntary Release of Liability and Notice of Assumption of Risk.
