Meet The Owner - Art Maciel

We’re excited to continue our Meet the Owner Series! This month we’re proud to present our first Spotlight Episode featuring CMC Employee Owner – Art Maciel.

Art Maciel began his journey in the high-angle industry in 2008, earning both SPRAT and IRATA Level 1 certifications in rope access. Since then, he has built a diverse and accomplished career across a range of industries, including special event rigging, tower inspections, wind turbine inspection and repair, oil and gas maintenance, structural building inspections, and marine salvage operations. Art has been working for CMC since 2018. Currently, Art works both as a Sales Representative, covering the Midwest and South America, and as a CMC School Instructor where he teaches for our Vertical Skills class.

When asked about why he likes being a Sales Representative for CMC, Art responded, “I am always looking for new opportunities, sometimes reaching out directly with customers, sometimes assisting dealers with technical questions. I ship a lot of equipment to end users and help them understand how to implement it in the field. I will also do many demos in person, allowing us to go more in depth with the equipment and helping them identify what is the most suitable tool for the job. I spend much of my time assisting communications between customer support and dealers. And much, much more, but you get the idea.”
